Manufacturing Process Technician

Inginaire is seeking a Manufacturing Process Technician for our client in Roseville, MN. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, the Manufacturing Process Technician will analyze, design, implement, test, and train on our equipment and production processes. Responsible to lead and report on quality issues for non-conforming production issues that will development, improve, and implement on our manufacturing production processes and programs.

This position works closely with production, and the manufacturing engineering teams in our manufacturing/production environment. This role is also responsible for the continued implementation of lean throughout the production lines, and identifying new opportunities or changes in business needs.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates manufacturing processes by conducting research; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; soliciting observations from operators.
  • Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with manufacturing engineers and production operators.
  • CAD skills for building, creating and maintaining production tools in CREO Library Assures product and process quality; testing finished- product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes.
  • Completes responses for production non-conformances and development of root cause and production improvments including training and guiding production staff.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Degree in an technical discipline i.e. CAD, desing, etc are helpful
  • Minimum of two (2) or more years of manufacturing experience work experience.
  • Desired one (1) or more years of direct experience using CAD ( Computer Aided Design ) software.

  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ideal but not required someone that has experience working with sonic, spin, heat, injection molding or any processes requiring multiple process settings. CAD, preferable Pro-E/CREO
  • Dealing with Complexity, Informing Others, Manufacturing Methods and Procedures, Manufacturing Quality, Presenting Technical Information, CAD.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Concepts.

  • Schedule

    • Between 2-4 open positions. 1 on 1st Shift, 1 on 2nd Shift, and 2 on their Weekend Shift.
    • 1st Shift: Monday-Friday - 5:30am-2pm
    • 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday - 2:30pm-12:30am
    • Weekend Shift: Friday-Sunday - 2:30pm - 2:30am
