NX Design Engineer (817812)

Bloomington, MN

Inginaire is seeking an NX Designer for our client, a Fortune 500 company in the Bloomington, MN area. This company is a worldwide leader in the manufacturing of filtration products, and they service the Aerospace, Agriculture, Automotive, Biotechnology and Defense industries. This is a long term contract position for 6+ months, and is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a highly sought after company. The role is on-site for training, and then hybrid (3/2) shortly after!
Duties
  • 3D Modeling: Experience with NX Modeling and use of sketches to constrain geometry. Ability to modify legacy designs and bring up to current modeling standards. Knowledge of expressions and ability to drive design changes through expressions. Familiar with NX Sheetmetal module and ability to define designs using material and bend tables.
  • Assemblies: Experience building NX Assemblies and fully constraining components. Ability to modify legacy designs and bring up to current standards. Preferable experience with Reference Sets.
  • Detailing: Experience NX Drafting and fully capturing design intent. Familiar with GD&T and dimensioning to correct reference. Familiar with welding and weld callouts.
  • Teamcenter: Familiar with Teamcenter, folder generation, and workflow processing.
  • Attention to detail: High level of attention to details. Ability to check ones work prior to submitting.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years NX experience. Most recent experience with NX 11 or greater.
  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Engineering field preferred, but is not required for this position.
